Advanced Map Monitor

INTREPID Map Monitor is a user-friendly, Windows-based security monitoring and control system that operates with the INTREPID MicroPoint Cable perimeter security system. Map Monitor displays the precise location of intrusion alarms to within 3 meters (10 ft) on a graphic map and provides the operator with a text message specifying the distance of a disturbance from user defined reference points.

Map Monitor simplifies perimeter security administration by managing alarm monitoring, data communications, event tracking / reporting and integration of all auxiliary security devices. The system's ease of use and integration capabilities makes it a key element of an effective perimeter intrusion detection solution.

Map Monitor software is flexible enough to suit simple standalone system management or multiple workstation, multi-site applications. Basic Map Monitor, designed for single site applications, provides a full-color graphic site map with pinpoint location of alarms, basic alarm activity reports and five language options (English, Spanish, German, French or Portuguese). Advanced Map Monitor offers all of the features of Basic Map Monitor, plus alarm tagging, password protection and the ability to operate the system from multiple PCs on a single network or multiple maps from a single PC.

INTREPID Map Monitor software is user configurable and can be easily modified to meet changes in site configuration or operators. The system can reside on a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN).
